Thank you for the video. I did the manual pressure cooking button on my instant pot. When I put 22 min and started it, the less light was lit up ? Is that normal ? What is the less,normal,more ? Does it affect cooking rice or other things ? Once again thanks for the video on Brown rice. I make my own dog food and it requires Brown rice, so both me and Grady thank you !

Thanks, Kristen; this is inspiring. One thing: I'm going to soak the rice and beans overnight and try and cut down the cooking time a bit. You still have to take the dry beans and rice off the shelf and measure them out either way; why not just dump them in the instant pot the night before and let them soak? Anyway, I appreciated your putting this vid up.

I wish someone could help me with this doubt in my mind. I'm an omnivore, mostly plant-based, but I will take animal products if they are offered to me. I like mushrooms, but I also know that fungi are closer to animals than they are to plants. They can be highly complex and we don't even begin to understand the mysteries they hold. Yum! Perfect long grain brown rice!.. thank you! I did rinse it first, used 2.5 cups (plus just a tad more) of water, added a tablespoon of butter and teaspoon of olive oil, a little salt, garlic powder, onion salt, and black pepper... all TO TASTE, sealed the lid, followed your time/instructions exactly, and ABSOLUTELY PERFECT and delicious rice was the result!! THANKS for the simple instructions and to the point! Excellent video! ( 6 qt Instant Pot used) By the way people.....the "Pressure Cook" and "manual" buttons are the SAME thing!
